#SoL20: A Refresh

Self Distancing is hard, but that’s why trying new things is important.

I read in a different room of my apartment today — curling up with a book in the spare room I set up as a library but never read in.  It was nice, even if the warmth coming in from the windows made me want to nap more than read.

I tried a new geocache today — found one and not the other.  It’s right in my own neighborhood and it is so frustrating that I cannot find it.  The hint says to stretch and I can’t help but wonder if I’m simply too short to grab it.  Not fair geocacher!  The other one was a much easier find, even if every time I geocache I feel super sketchy.

I took my dog on a longer walk as well — no sense going short today since the weather is starting to get nicer.  Chilly, but at least sunnier than it has been.

These are small things, small differences, but they made an otherwise dull day very refreshing.

  1. Small differences add up! I’ve been reading in different spots, going on long walks, and indulging in hobbies more, too. It definitely helps.
